Two quick images
Two quick images I made this month to try to get back at "just for fun" raytracing.

New image
At last I did something with the toy piano, which was sitting on the WIP section for too long....

Forgotten images from 2010
Last year I forgot to publish some images... I found about it when reorganizing my folders (now that 3.7 is almost out, I've started to do some cleaning of the workbench).

Summer update
Again, I was lazy and didn't update the site in a long time... well, at least seems I naturally settled for 2 updates per year, wich is not that bad.
But recent developments suggest that I will be updating this site more frequently in the future. Unfortunately, pending projects and WIPs will have to be put aside for the moment...

Summer update
|
Just to test the new CMSMS admin interface, I've uploaded some unpublished images and experiments from this year. Indeed, it works nicely, simple and effective as I like it... but the most important part is that publishing new pages and images is now much easier.

CMSMS Update
I've updated the site CMS (CMS Made Simple), and as a side effect, all the news disappeared... not really a great loss, and much less problematic than what I was expecting for an update from 0.11.2 to 1.6.
I will restore later a few of the more recent news from the backup.

Chief Architect tutorial
|
Some time ago, Chris Cason, the POV-Ray Team Coordinator, lend me a copy of Chief Architect X1, a professional home design software. This program uses POV-Ray as the internal raytracing engine, and also exports to POV format. Here is a tutorial on how to get better, more realistic results out of it.

Annual update
Almost a year since the last update... wow! I'm really lazy!
This doesn't necessarily means that I had a lot of things pending to publish... in fact, 2008 was a rather unproductive year regarding POV-Ray as a hobby (although I started to do some work with POV-Ray, and I have good prospects to do more).
Anyhow, as I was reorganizing my /raytracing folder, I decided to publish the few things I did last year, and as a bonus I added also some forgot/stalled scenes I found in the process.
More images and other material will be coming soon..
