Another test with Wings3D. I’m learning to use Wings3D materials asignement to map photographic textures. It is very easy to create a wings3d texture for each orientation, or for the cylindrical/spherical parts. Once exported, you can create the corresponding textures in POV-Ray with image_maps apropiately mapped.
I also tried the postprocessed media trick with this scene, and it looks nice. Lastly, I’ve done some tests with the recently published model of a Mini Cooper by Gilles Tran.
