I'm Robert Niemann, 37 years old, male, from Germany.

Well, in my daily live I work as a Software engeneer (thus the fascination of the native POV language), have been married and three Kids (six, four and two of age as of this writing 2002). We also build our own house, so there's much work to be done and free time is limited.

I came to ray tracing due to one of my 'childhood dreams': I would like to create a graphics adventure, but my drawing skills are poor. I currently have found an interpreter I can use, and I also wrote a four or five-scene adventure to check the functionality. Now I have to think about a real story.

Beside computer-related things I like to meet people, talk or discuss with them, best while joining a BBQ (as eating is one of my hobbies too, even if you won't guess it 'cause I'm still slim). I'm also the romantic type that liks to sit around a bonfire, trying to sing while someone plays the guitar.

Programs:

+ POV native language. Novice.
+ C/C++ Language. Expert.

Strenghts: My strength is the geometrical construction of objects using CSG. Also, I work much with prism object, even they not always behave like I expect them to.

Weakness: Well, texturing. It's going better, but the good textures are more or less created 'by accident'.

Working On: I'm doing small scenes, trying to make everything look like I 'visioned' them.

Objective: Photorealism. Modelling (female) Humans that can be used in animations. (remember: Anyone should have ideals...and ideals are normally out of reach)
